At the Norwegian Dry Eye Clinic
you will be examined with
specialized equipment
so we can give you the right diagnosis

Diagnosing dry eye disease may be challenging and often there is a need for advanced tests. In agreement with the guidelines given by the Tear Film and Ocular Surface Society (The International Dry Eye Workshop (2007) and The International Workshop on Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (2011)), The Norwegian Dry Eye Clinic uses preferred diagnostic tests including validated symptom questionnaires, traditional tests, tear osmolarity, meibography, tear film lipid layer interferometry, and confocal microscopy. All patient data is managed using A Dry Eye Managing Software (ADEMS) which improves workflow and collects data for research purposes. ADEMS is proudly developed by the The Norwegian Dry Eye Clinic.
